Brian started business at the age of 21 while going to school full time.  He played football and baseball which he uses to show the kids how becoming a STUDENT athlete is more important that being an athletic student.



Amanda Lara

College: California State University, Fullerton

Subjects: English, Reading Comprehension and Writing

Major: English

Amanda is a published author who has written short stories for a variety of genres and publications for both adults and children. Shes also worked as a journalist for her city newspaper. After she graduates, Amanda aspires to be a high school English teacher and hopes to have a positive influence on her studentseducational careers.



Emily Apodaca

College: Whittier College

Subjects: English and Math

Major: Social Work

Emily is currently attending Whittier College where she is pursuing a degree in Social Work where she is receiving the tools she needs to help build her non-profit organization, Safe Haven. In doing so, she aspires to help underprivileged pre-adolescents and adolescents overcome adversity so they can become successful and healthy adults. Recently, she studied abroad in Denmark with advisors to help further her education.



Erin Bullard

Major: Applied Mathematics

Erin aspires to attend MIT as a graduate student. Although she has no specific dream job, Erin is certain that she would like to have a positive influence on peoples’ lives.



Erika Calle

College: Cal State Long Beach

Subjects: Biology / Math

Major: Cell and Molecular Biology

Erika traveled to Italy and saw the Cistene Chapel which was one of the most amazing experiences of her life. Being immersed in the food and the culture was most memorable to her.



Jessie Bullard

Major: English Literature

Jessie was awarded the F. Scott Fitzgerald Writing Award. Jessie aspires to become a published author and English teacher.



Mario Escobedo

College: UC Santa Barbara/University of La Verne

Subjects: Math / English

Major: English/ Juris Doctorate

Mario graduated with honors while earning his degree in English at UC Santa Barbara. Mario once visited the U.S. Supreme Court and considers it a valuable experience because of its rich history.



Nayely Limon

College: Whittier College

Subjects: Spanish / English

Major: Sociology and Spanish

In five years, Nayely sees herself working for the Lation/immigrant population as an advocate and lawyer. Nayely plays the guitar in her spare time.



Paige Hoddick

Major: Anthropology

Paige seeks to become a senator or political correspondent because of her passion for politics and civil rights. Paige recalls visiting the Dominican Republic because of the amazing people and culture.

Shamariah is a part of two organizations: Habitat for Humanity and Comfort Zone. Some of Sharamariah’s hobbies include tennis, running, hiking, and traveling.
